I Thought About You
04:52
|
|||
lyrics by Johnny Mercer
I took a trip on a train
And I thought about you
I passed a shadowy lane
And I thought about you
Two or three cars parked under the stars
Winding stream
Moon shining down on some little town
And with each beam, the same old dream
And every stop that we made
Oh, I thought about you
And when I pulled down the shade
Then I really felt blue
I peeped through the crack
Looked at the track
Oh I'm going back to you
And what did I do? I thought about you
There were two or three cars parked under the stars
Winding stream
Moon shining down on some little town
And with each beam, the same old dream
And then I peeped through the crack
And looked at the track
Oh I'm going back to you
And what did I do? I thought about you

Alternate Voices
07:02
|
|||
Lyrics by Greg Murphy
Soon the time will come when we
Will live in harmony
Peace, happiness for all to see
A growing love that we will find
Within our own lifetime
Come and take a trip with me
To voices we can see
Awakening with you and me
Becoming all that we can share
Our love and strength is everywhere
What we need for you to feel is that it can be real
We must search to find the balance that’s within our mind, and
Then it will be easy to find
The alternating voice within us, within time
And change the way we live
So that our hearts are free to give
Let’s believe that it can happen soon
So that we can go to the next tune
Soon the time will come when we
Will live in love

What's New
04:34
|
|||
lyrics by Johnny Burke
What's new?
How is the world treating you?
You haven't changed a bit
Lovely as ever, I must admit
What's new?
How did that romance come through?
We haven't met since then
Gee, but it's nice to see you again
What's new?
Probably I'm boring you
But seeing you is grand
And you were sweet to offer your hand
I understand. Adieu!
Pardon my asking what's new
Of course you couldn't know
I haven't changed, I still love you so

A Strain From Wayne

Lyrics for A Strain From Wayne
Alzo Wright
Through the music’s eyes
With notes which harmonize
The melody of love beams through
Enrapturing
All love mates’ hearts do sing
When love is true
Music of the spheres
Just traverses the years
And radiates such warmth and glee
It captivates
While paradise at once appears
It’s amazing how
Songs always allow
The spirit to wander and roam
Looking for the essence of the
Moment when the heart
Just flutters from the start
Then lovers rejoice in pleasure
Gladness is extreme
When love becomes supreme
And happiness takes center stage
Let music play and
Let all lovers sway
Since love’s their treasure
